Finding someone to get me going online!

I’ve been writing and creating publications for as long as I can remember. I’ve published quite a few different magazine titles over the years and I even created my own cartoon series, which was published back in the seventies in the form of a regionally produced magazine which spanned about three years and was released bi-annually. These works were my pride and joy at the time, and although I never made a fortune out of them, they earned me enough to just about survive and I used to like the idea that I could survive as an artist! Of course, times changed and I had to get myself a proper job, but thirty years on and I found myself with time on my hands once more.

Being a latecomer to the boom of the internet I must confess to being somewhat afraid of the technical side of things, so when one of my old buddies suggested I get my back catalogue online, I scoffed at the idea. Thinking about it at home, though, I realised it was a great idea. If I could find someone to make a site for me, I could show the whole lot on my own website.

I decided to employ a freelance web designer to set up the site for me. It was remarkably easy to track someone down online, and I came across a great site where there were lists and lists of people who could help me set up my site as a one off fee. Needless to say I got straight to work, and now I am the proud owner of my very own website, displaying all of the work that I was so proud of in the first place!
